Kate is an established designer for immersive and site-sympathetic theatre, dance, and circus. Her experience in the industry—creating worlds and theatrical playgrounds for audience exploration—has led her to work on wide-ranging exhibitions and events. Having worked with pioneering theatrical storytellers Punchdrunk and Punchdrunk Enrichment for the majority of her career, Kate has also designed for leading cultural institutions such as Southbank Centre, Wales Millennium Centre, National Maritime Museum, and National Trust.

Collaborating with directing and writing teams at the start of a project to set the creative direction is an aspect of the process Kate particularly enjoys. A trained tailor and costume maker, she also designs and constructs costumes for site-specific projects, opera, dance, and circus.
